Gay Constructions new workshop was established in October 2005, the new facility is located centrally in the Australian Trade Coast Precinct at the new River –Gate Industrial Park, Murarrie.
The new workshop is purpose built for heavy steel fabrication and machining operations.
The new workshop is one of the most modernly equipped and efficient steel fabrication workshops in Queensland.
Fabrication Workshop operating parameters
- Floor area 3500 square meters
- 40-meter span
- 2 Operating bays, Bay 1 for plate fabrication and Bay 2 for structural steel fabrication.
- 8 0ver head cranes (2 x 10 tonne and 6 x 5 tonne)
- 8 Meter under hook height.
- Purpose built truck loading bay
